Sissel My Heart CD Sissel Kyrkjebo's birthday is today, June 24. Born in 1969, Sissel is a star in Norway due to her fantastic voice that truly sounds like the clear beautiful waterfalls seen in Norway. Her voice is hard to describe. I had a chance to first hear her singing when we were traveling in Norway about 10 years ago. Our tour guide put the Sissel's Soria Moria CD on as we traveled the beautiful mountain roads and her voice was truly representive of the gorgeous surroundings. The CD My Heart is done mostly in English and includes songs like "You Raise Me Up", "Ava Maria", and "Someone Like You". A recent release is Nordisk Vindernott into Paradise as seen on PBS.
