Scandinavian Almond Cake in the German Rehruckenform pan!
One of the most popular items from Lena and Ole's Gifts is the Scandinavian almond cake pan. Actually the pan is made in Germany and is called a rehruckenform. This cake is very popular with my customers because it is easy to make, freezes well, and is very pretty when done. There are two different recipes posted in our recipe section that work well in this unique pan. When served on one of the beautiful trays, perhaps with fresh strawberries and whipped cream at this time of the year, your guests will be impressed and will love the prominent almond flavor of this outstanding moist cake.
The aluminum pan is available for $12.50 plus shipping from Lena and Ole’s Gifts. Call 414-745-4362 to order.
Lena has “real” Norwegian Coffee (Kaffe) for you to taste & buy
Friele Frokost kaffe
Friele Frokost Kaffe is an exquisite blend of up to 7 different coffee types in addition to a constant quality and taste all year round. You can see how it's made and "visit" Norway at the same time on their Norwegian website at www.friele.no.
The Friele Frokost Kaffe has been roasted and ground mainly with southern- and central American Arabica coffee, grown at a high altitude. The coffee has a nice combination of body and acidity.
Friele Frokost Kaffe is a quality coffee you can safely serve at any occasion. This may be the reason why Friele Frokost Kaffe is Norway’s number one selling coffee and is now available from Lena & Ole's Gifts — it's a great flavor and available at $17.50 for a 500 gram bag — perfect gift for the hard-to-buy-for Norwegian.
